George Orwell's 1984 Presentation This story happens in a state called Oceania. The fundamental characters presented are Winston Smith who is a laborer on one of the four parts of government on Oceania. This four branches are â€Å"The Ministry of Truth† where they falsificate or expel every single past record, for example, books, papers, magazines, records, tapes and anything containing data about the past and are changed with the â€Å"accurate† significance of whatever the Government (known as â€Å" Huge Brother†) needs it to be. Every single past record are eradicated and everybody must accept what the new ones state or, more than likely they are gotten by the Thought Police. The Thought Police are a gathering of present day individuals who resemble the police within recent memory then again, actually this police can see you each and every second of your life through exceptional gadgets that seem as though T.V's. called Telescreens. This Telescreens are put in the places of individuals, outside structures, parks, dividers, anyplace they could be put and are constantly turned on. The Telescreens are continually giving you data of the wars won and furthermore guiding you and continually observing each development you do, no articulations are conceded in Oceania other than contempt or on the other hand the one â€Å"Big Brother† instructs you to. The subsequent branch is called â€Å"The Ministry of Love† where individuals were rebuffed, tormented and were instructed to abhor one another. Winston worked in the Service of truth where he's activity was to revamp the news on the paper called Times. Another character is O'Brien who helps Winston love Big Brother for Winston loathed Big Brother. Julia is the young lady that begins to look all starry eyed (which is a very large wrongdoing) with Winston. Katharine is Winston's better half however he hasn't seen her for a long time. Eastasia and Eurasia are the two different states battling for power with Oceania. The proles are the main individuals who are not controlled so much by Big Brother, they go about as we do and can have their own accepts, contemplations, sentiments or anything they feel like. Emmanuel Goldstein is the supervisor of an underground fraternity that needs to pulverize Big Brother.
